Discussion on calculation method for mechanical smoke exhaust in atriums

Presents the performancebased calculation method for mechanical smoke exhaust of smoke control and extraction system in atrium, by which calculates the height of smoke layer and smoke exhaust velocity through setting the heat release rate combined with buildings architectural characteristic based on a zone model. Gives an example as the reference for smoke control and extraction design for atrium.
